Madame Gonse eating chocolate: Collage/painting

This artwork is inspired by the famous portrait of Madam Gonse by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres (1852). I have used different kinds of paper to cover up a cork board, one of the pieces has visible texture. The portrait is made in a rough style and can perhaps be considered a conceptual artwork. It belongs to a modern expressionistic tradition. A wood frame is fixed to the board, it is painted white. The artwork has a metal string on the backside and is ready for display. It was difficult to get the right color distribution, the frame is more white than beige.
