A woman is standing in a living room, she seems to be experiencing inner emotion or perhaps a kind of calmness. Memories are sometimes buried deep within, in the end they may release you and make it possible to move on in a better direction or give greater understanding. The scene is painted in a rough style, reflecting this energy or unease, confronting yourself with the past or with memories you may had forgotten. The painting could also portray the aftermath of an emotional storm or a struggle finally calming down. 

The painting is painted with acrylic paint on a mdf. plate. It has a back frame in wood, the sides are painted in the same palette. It can be hung onto the wall as it is. The original comes out lighter at the left side, in the grey part where the 'painting is.
