mixed media: dressing for outdoor
'Dressing for outdoor'
reminds me of the time when as a child you are dressed really properly, by your mother (mostly), before you are allowed to get out in the weather on the outside. I made the artwork using different drypoint needles on a copperplate, printed it by hand in a printing press, later I have handcoloured parts of the image.

small painting: my father and I
When I made this small acrylic painting of a father and a child I was thinking about how important the role of the father is in a child's life, presenting a feeling of security, of being cared for and the supportive character of the father. The painting is made on a 'photocanvas', it is app. 23x27cm, the sides are a bit unevenly cut, but it would be fine for a cutting of 22x27cm. It is put up for sale at Saatchi Online gallery. www.saatchionline.com/siriskogstadberntsen
