The artwork is made using mixed media technique. I created the background using drypoint needle, it is handprinted, and comes in a typical light grayish print color. I have added a layer of oil pastel, creating the figure and the colors in the motive. It can be considered a conceptual, modern artwork, it rests somewhere in the crossing between the abstract and the figurative. I have given it a passepartou in 30x30 cm, the passepartou is white, and the artwork comes with a frame, either in black or white, if wanted. The white frame presents a good environment for the delicate colors. Silver, abstract painting

Format: 20x25x3.2cm

Technique: Oil on kapa board

The artwork is made with oil paint on kapa board. Two layers of kapa boards are glued together. The boards are covered with plaster and then painted with nuances of pink-red-orange, beige and silver oil paint. The artwork has clear texture, the brushstrokes are showing, and there are clear differences in the surface ground. The artwork belongs to an abstract, modern tradition, it can also be considered minimalistic and perhaps conceptual. It has a sculptur-like feel to it if presented standing, because of texture, depth and its slight unsymmetric form. The sides are painted in a white color, some places there are traces of some gray paint. It is relatively light. It is signed on the backside, that is white. The artwork is made using oil paint on a painting board. Purple, red, white, yellow, green and blue in nuances form an abstract structure, vision or landscape. Technique: Cardboard and plaster

The artwork is created using hard cardboard, cutted and glued in to a 

bowl-like shape. The cardboard is covered with plaster, some areas of its surface are smooth-like, other areas have clear, rough texture. The shape is bowl-like, the artwork has a hollow room, the 'walls' surround and create the hollowness. The sculpture is solid but fragile. I have made a cardboard display box that can accompany the artwork if wanted, but the artwork also looks nice as it is, by itself. The box will be painted in a white color, to create a more finished look.

The artwork portrays a woman, in a pink jumper. She is looking at something, with a kind of longing or love in her eyes, that stand in contrast to a certain coldness reflected by the modern perspective or presentation. The artwork is made using rough brushstrokes, it enlarges the subject and gives focus to the perspective, the way of looking.
