This is a mixed media painting on a board. It is made in a rough expressionistic style. I have used oil and acrylic, that are 'splashed' on and removed. The painting portrays a conscious thinking person.
There is a back frame glued on to the backside, the painting can be displayed like this, but it would profit on a frame.

Rain

This conceptual artwork is made by hand printing. It is an experimental print work and there is only one print. The artwork consist of a small text fragment and the traces of print and paint. The textfragment, «Her pocket filled with rain», is a part of a text from a norwegian graphic cartoonist, Jason. Isolated the text element has a dreamy quality and with its surrealist character it creates a relational quality.

Crossing

To paint this artwork I have used the repeating stripe, one of the basic geometrical figures, shapes or patterns. I have painted stripes through a set of parallel lines or fields, running alongside each other separated by different colours of white, blue, grey, yellow and orange constituting a landscape. Parallel lines have a certain interesting quality, in that they seemingly run forever, this brings forward an element or aspect of gravity or eternity to them like the landscapes in our earth. Sometimes elements or units or energies cross the seemingly static flow fro different reasons.
The painting is made with oil paint on a solid wood plate, 1 cm deep. It can be displayed from all angles. The backside of the painting has a another painting, a bonus painting for the buyer. So when one needs a change of scenery one can just turn the painting around, and there you will find a motive of a woman's head. This painting is also displayed on my page, it is titled «Sunset in the valley».
The painting has no arrangement for hanging. The original is more evenly white in the colors, like the left white field.

The painting is made using acrylic paint and color pigment on a board.
The artwork belongs to a modern abstract expressionistic tradition. Static and defined fields of color work together expressing a dynamic composition, progressing through rough brushwork in combination with more defined lines. A network can be mutual interconnections consisting of different units, for instance between people sharing thoughts, helping and supporting each other or other types of interconnections that help create growth and transformation.
The painting is made with yellow, green, white, together with some variations of blue, pink, brown, black and grey. It has a back frame in wood glued onto the backside, the sides are painted in bluish.
