"For once I didn't look back"

"For once I didn't look back" (Turquoise and ocer) is a digital artwork.
It has photo of the most well known mountain outside Tromsø, the town where I grew up, as base. The interaction of the artistic, the digital tools and the graphic effects creates a vision of emotional place, transcending the image into an abstract sphere or mood. I have made 4 or 5 variations over this exact image. 

Giclée is a printmaking method for digital art. It sets high standards or conditions for the printmaking process and the result. Advanced printers are used (with for instance ten different colours), and a combination of lightfast ink and acid free artpaper (190-300 gram). "For once I didn´t look back" (Turquoise and Ocer) can be printed as Giclée on artpaper, satisfying the conditions for this method. The artwork become signed and numbered like other printmaking artworks. The artwork can also be printed onto other interesting materials like metal(aliminium), canvas, wood or the like. It can have either a digital signature or ink/paint signature. There will be a limited edition on 50 images. The artwork can be combined with other variations for a triptyc, series, etc.

The brides dress

'The brides dress' is a small mixed media work on plate. I have used aceton print, charcoal and acrylic paint.

The portrait, 'The singer', is a digital artwork, made on the computer. I have used digital pencils, digitial colour and graphic effects in the creation.

I made a drawing of Leonardo da Vincis Madonna, the drawing was scanned and worked with in the computer. The image can take a physical presence through print on materials like paper, glass, wood, metal etc.
